quite a while I'd say , likely to be exclusive to the 360 for quite a while as it's paid-for content.

MS have a 30 day exclusivity deal with IW for the map pack. So I guess the end of April, unless for some strange reason Sony don't want to release it as soon as they are allowed.

I wonder how this will be handled on the PC. I have no doubt it will not be for free, but how will you pay for it? Through Steam? Through an instore purchase? Via infinity ward?

If they know what's good for them, it'll be a free map pack on the PC by way of an apology for making something that could have been so good, suck so bad.

True, but then hell would have frozen over and TBH I prefer it when it's hot.

Why would they offer it for free? Borderlands has managed to sell DLC to PC gamers so Infinity Ward will milk everything they can. Shame I can't even play the game on the PC anymore as it hangs at the menu which a few seems to be having issues with since the last patch and steam update.

COD:MW worked perfectly and has become one of the best/fastest selling games of all time.

Thats the problem though, we know its a cop out for a PC game and a complete console port but IW's eyes the players are wrong and its their way or no way. They don't give a toss, they made millions out of this game.

Re: News - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack coming to Xbox Live this month

I quit playing this game after 2 days, I don't know how bad the PC version of this game is but on the PS3 it was terrible, the negatives outweighed the positives for me.

Most of the players camp waiting for you to run past them for easy kills or boost using tactical insertions to get air support and nukes, every game I go in is practically a game of hide and seek against campers, shooting down enemy air support and getting knifed from meters away while spraying the enemy with my Uzi.

A few annoying glitches/pet hates about the game.

    • Only receiving a hitmarker after shooting the enemy in the head/upper body with a 50cal sniper rifle from close to medium range.
    • Appearing on enemy heartbeat sensor despite using Ninja Perk.
    • Knifers missing and still getting kills or being knifed from far distances while you spray your attacker with bullets.

But what about everything that's been going on?? what with the two head dev's being sacked/leaving?
I thought that there was going to be some sort of court junction where activision could'nt release any material under the modern warfare name unless they had consent from the two guys that left??

Maybe it had already been decided on before they 'left'... There's a fair few hoops you have to jump through to get stuff onto the LIVE marketplace [dunno about PSN] so it's possible that that all kicked off after the DLC had been sent to MS for 'approval'

Maybe it's not the straight forward 30 day wait for other formats like most thought it would be.
