Quite enjoy these sorts of marketing ploys, would be interesting to see if nvidia will attempt to hit back in a similar sort of fashion.
Thought the XFX "viral videos" were pretty amusing when they came out.

Gah! I didn't think AMD stooped to NVIDIA's mudslinging level - it just encourages fanboyism.
That said it's pretty funny mudslinging.

I had two 6800GT's and two 8800GTX's die after about 2-3 years in 4 separate machines. When I say "die", I mean either stop working or become incredibly slow. I think it was heat. Never again.
Nothing like to this extent though. The top 4 series GPU needed 2x6pins at most.
Oh of course, but compared to their Nvidia compatriots they were red hot.

The gtx 280 required a 6pin and 8pin connector and ate more power, didn't it?
