    One big complaint of the galaxy was the cheap plastic look and feel of it. Looks like this one big issue has not been improved. This nexus s also looks cheap and plasticy.

    The Galaxy S may look plasticky but if you hold it in your hand it is rock solid build quality. I have had mine for 6 months and have no problem with the build, and like it's lack of metal as it produces a much lighter phone in the hand. Beauty in the eye of the beholder but you cannot criticise Samsung's build quality which is exemplary. At least there's something they do right...
