Theres also 3 free movie rentals available if you hit the video tab. Final Fantasy Spirits Within, Resident Evil Degeneration and House of the Dead 2 : Dead Aim. You can get them in SD or HD and you get them for 30 days. Once you start one though you get 48 hours to get through it before it expires and is gone for good.

Re: News - Sony PSN "Welcome Back" Program goes live

Thanks for the reminder I haven't used my PS3 for over 4 months.

All subscribers are eligible for two free PlayStation 3 games from the choice of inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, Dead Nation, Super Stardust HD and WipEout HD.
I think this is the US free game pack, I'm offered Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty in place of Super Stardust HD and Wipout HD is bundled with the Fury expansion pack which is a good bonus.

Re: News - Sony PSN "Welcome Back" Program goes live

Its been live a couple of days yeah the EU pack doesn't have Super Stardust with it,

I was offered a choice of: Infamous, Littlebigplanet, Ratchet and Clank: quest for booty, Dead nation and Wipeout HD + Fury.

Already own infamous and LBP. So picked Wipeout and dead nation. Wipeout alone is great and dead nation is nice bonus.

And they thought they could get away with giving that away for free? :\

I'd be looking for compensation for the bandwidth and time wasted downloading it, and for the psychological trauma of watching something so rubbish.

Dead Nation looks like it could be fun, but it seems Sony are fobbing us off with their old cheap crap that no longer sells.

I got that too! Whenever you try and access the welcome back offer through the games entry portal? go down and get access via the video entry instead - then you can tab over to the games section. Make any sense? Thats how i got in...

Its backwards and arse about face, but it works.

It doesnt seem like they have quite worked out all the kinks yet...
