A fail on ASRocks' part for copy and pasting..

"The Fatal1ty Series motherboard is designed with a V16+2 Power Phase, featuring sturdy components and completely smooth power delivery to the CPU. The P67 Professional Series offers unmatched overclocking capability and enhanced performance with the lowest temperatures for PC gaming enthusiasts."

ASRock have a lazy web team? LOL

ASRock is containing to utilise its partnership with ...
Seriously Hexus, I've been very patient for the last few months, but the lack of proof-reading on articles is just getting ridiculous. I can't remember the last time I read a Hexus article that didn't have a blatant grammatical or typing error somewhere in it. One of the things that originally attracted me to Hexus was the quality of the writing...

Good to see ASROCK still around. Didn't expect to see the FATAL1TY motherboards from them though!

Big question is would you buy this from Asrock or would you rather buy a mid range from Asus for the same money.

'ASRock' and 'Fatal1ty' are two reasons I'd stay as far away from this as possible...

Re: News - ASRock launches Fatal1ty 990FX Professional

Asrock of old (6+ years ago) I'd avoid like the plague (The old KT333 chipsets etc), however am very happy with my Asrock branded P67 Extreme6 board.

Fatal1ty, much like Alienware, is paying extra for a name without any real reason.

I think it was the chipset you needed to avoid.

ASRock - I've set up one board, and it's still working perfectly now, some 7 years later. Only one board, so hardly conclusive, but I can't really complain at that.

I used to BUY custmPC and Hexus is still miles above them for quality. I agree there have been some issues but it costs you nothing to read so I don't really see the big problem.

you would think after writing an article about the effect of spelling errors in item descriptions and loss of sales the other day, they might pick up their game!

Re: News - ASRock launches Fatal1ty 990FX Professional

Seriously the only reason you have for making comment is to comment on grammar? Since the majority of people that read these articles have a brain I am sure they can figure out what is intended to be written and they probably don't care about the errors. I personally could care less about grammar in an article or otherwise its not going to save the world or indeed destroy it. I do find it odd that people take the time to complain about it though I mean seriously is it really that bad?

On topic I cant remember the last time I considered an ASRock board I think Ill stick with Asus they have never let me down and don't really feel like paying more money just because some gamer has put his name to it.

Well I simply don't get it I cant understand how people could be that moved by a few errors in news articles and such. If a doctor makes a spelling mistake and therefore prescribes the the wrong medicine that I get but a news article seriously? Surely you can find more important issues to complain about if your so inclined. Each to there own I guess if it offends you that much I suppose you have a right to complain even when its free.

I started writing a lengthy reply to this, but frankly this isn't really the place for that discussion. I'll leave it at:

I expect professional writers, like any other professional, to take a certain amount of pride in their work. When someone either doesn't proof-read a 300 word article, or fails to pick up obvious errors during their proofing, it does not inspire me with confidence. When a "definitive" news and review site repeatedly publishes articles with obvious spelling and grammatical errors in, it reflects badly on the site as a whole. And as a member of the Hexus community, that worries me.
