Given the level of outrage that has Murdoch's empire has incited with the phone hacking scandal, it's likely that these will be the last attacks - Sony will certainty testify to the persistence of groups such as LulzSec and Anonymous. They don't read correctly. Also it may or may not be a mistake but if LulzSec and Anonymous are so persistant then surely it's unlikely that these will be the last attacks. However, the New Times website is currently inaccessible, and a statement on the regarding the Sun website has seemingly been deleted from the News International UK site
Generally though, I would have thought hacking people's phones could be linked to freedom of information - which is what Anonymous stand for?

@ cameronlite:
I think you are ignoring the meaning of "anonymous".
------------------------------------------------------------
I think people are too fixated on what is wrong and right as well as rules and laws, things are distorted easily. Hence hackers use their ability to "send messages" to governments and organisations with good intentions and end up making things worse. The same can be said the other way around.
Things are quite obviously messed up and neither party are doing anything meaningful to make the situation better.
PS: Still haven't fixed the "unlikely" problem...
it's likely that these will be the last attacks
@ExHail - I'm sorry, i don't really get it. Anonymous release information about people all the time....

Looks like they've corrected - 'un' now in place.
Sorry to correct you Hugo, but it was Lulz Sec that hacked news international.
