I'm no hoarder, in fact, I'm quite brutal with older gadgets, if it takes up space it's out.
So with that in mind, I think (no joke) my old iPhone 3GS which I use soley as a vessel for iPlayer
But mini-disc IS the future....

I loved Mini-disc. What wasn't to like? CD-size storage in a protected medium. It was ace.
I was in a hospital the other day, and delighted to see that they carried out checks and audits with HP iPaqs. I used to love my iPaq. (as an aside, have apple ever sued HP for using the i? Not that I want to give them ideas...).
So... anyway... the oldest gadget I still use... interesting one... And, indeed, thinking philosophically, the question has highlighted a dependance upon gadgets that I hadn't properly considered before.
Porbably my 80gb Ipod, which is one of the ones with a wheel and a little screen. 3rd gen? Or my kindle, which is a keyboard one, and which my kids get terribly confused about coz you can't swipe the screen.
My HTPC: Linky
Ditto here - iPod Video 5th Gen. Sound quality is head and shoulders better than the cut-down iPhones that Apple punt these days.
Nokia 770 still gets a whirl every so often, and my windows PC still has a cassette tape drive in it - to get my old C90's converted into MP3s.
Shame this question wasn't asked last year - then I could have said "Palm Tungsten T3" - unfortunately I got B-Folders on my S3, so didn't need the old T3 for encrypted password storage any more.
apple i. can't do much stuff though...
I still use a hp ipaq, mostly for satnav but it does have tomb raider installed too.
Past that I would say its my nintendo ds lite, still going strong.
I think my nintendo SP. Haven't seen anything that makes me wanna buy any of the newer ones.
Though even older is my oregon scientific clock with a projector if you count that as a gadget, bit glitchy every now and then but still going strong.
Not really sure it counts... but I have my grandma's old roberts radio from the 70's.
Long may it live in the kitchen.
My wife is 27 years old, I've had her a number of those years - does that count as a gadget?
Woohoo - 2000th post - need a life!

I'm honestly not sure what my oldest still used gadget is. Might be one of my Canon lenses, or perhaps one of my Dell 24" monitors which pre-date my desktop by a couple of years.
I've got boxes of much older stuff, but none of it gets used and really is over due to be cleared out. Pentium Pro motherboard anyone?
PSP first generation. I have a lot of films on it and it goes everywhere with me
Current specs:
CPU: Intel i5 3570k Overclocked @ 4.6Ghz GPU: MSI Twin Frozr 7850 @ 1000Mhz Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 RAM: 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA Z77X-D3H
17" Samsung monitor!
For me it would have to be the apple laptop I use on a day to day basis. It's one of the original macbooks (not a pro, a white one). The battery is dead, it can't run youtube without lagging (not buffering) but I can't be bothered getting a new one + it would cost too much.
still using my 160GB iPod classic as it plugs into my headunit and works brilliant.
Don't use it with iTunes though.
Are PC Surround-sound speakers classed as a gadget? If so then my Creative Inspire 5300 speakers have been providing my PC's audio since 1999.
Other than that, probably my SNes (originally purchased 1993) which still gets occasional use..
