Any idea on pricing, looks very tempting specwise.
At a guess, that's a £450 monitor.
We still don't know what the Panel is thought ? Many saying it could be a new TN panel (@ 1440p) rather than a nice IPS ?... Will have to wait to find out more...
No info about the price? Nevermind, I bet I won't be able to afford one.
Ahhh, spotted it now...
Hmmm, a new panel then ?
With those refresh rates it is most likely a TN panel
I do like the spec on that monitor, it has almost everything I want, except the IPS panel, so I am torn now, do I go for the really good looking TN monitor with 1ms GTG times or the IPS panel from Dell, both are 8 bit/16.7 million colour monitors unless I go for the more expensive U2713H.
I was that excited about this monitor that in the early hours of this morning I started my own thread but alas, I can't post in the news section so I guess it was missed.
Seeing as my thread is now redundant can someone delete it please. Thanks.
Surely you are better off not paying the G-Sync premium and putting the money in the GPU to just power through the problem.
I found the pricing.

Why not ? IPS panels are getting better and the Korean ones can be over clocked to over 120hz, the advances in panels is coming along nicely... I have a Hazro 27"WC clocked at 90hz without any issues...
I must say I do agree that this was not going to be a IPS due to the early preview saying nothing about it & if it was an IPS they would be singing about it in the top line !
Overall hopefully this means cheaper 1440p screens come in to the market & not a ASUS Rog overpriced one like this. The g-sync 24" non Rog ASUS is priced at £440 so I'd see this coming into the price point of around £600, to much for most of us & to much for an TN panel with a Rog name stamped all over it...
I guess so, let's hope we see some nice advances in IPS refreash rates soon ? The gaming thing is a must for some but not for others... Bring on OLED with 500mhz screens
