Is it me or does it feel like game overload? Especially with the sale that just happened about a month ago on Steam.
I've got so many games that I haven't played in my library that adding more feels a little pointless. Yes, I quite fancy a few more games, especially at reduced prices, but I just don't know when I'll get the time to play them.
The initial look at the sale is thoroughly underwhelming, all the newer games have little to no discount and are at least £10 more than they were last year, and even with the bigger discounts the prices of the games are too high due to their over-inflated starting points.
Just won't buy anything until the prices drop to more reasonable levels (sub £20 mark for games, sub £15 for expansion packs)

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
I hate paying extra money for DLC and expansion packs. My current tactic is to wait a couple of years until the 'Definitive, All Inclusive, We Promise This One Has Everything' version comes out and goes on sale, then pounce.
Noticed the STEAM Winter Sale was on yesterday evening, but had to double-check since the sale didn't seem particularly "STEAM-y".
Seems as if the good people at Valve don't really care about the sales any longer and just go through the motions. Used to be that there were challenges to be solved and special giveaways to be had. Now, you get some trading cards for browsing your (games) queue and some games are discounted.

Has anyone ever done a single thing with Steam trading cards other than immediately put them up for sale?
I made just over 1 whole pound from selling cards this sale. It doesn't sound like much but the satisfaction from sticking it to the man was immense. Ish.
Also, it meant I could buy some silly indie games for almost nothing.
