Haha yeah good one AMD, might be worth a thought if you are going to actually use the CPU, but as it is limited edition etc. I am pretty sure if you didn't use it and kept it boxed, it will be worth more to a collector in the future.
If I had won one I wouldn't be opening it put it that way.
AMD does not have the technology to push their 6 core R5 past 5Ghz so they want to look under the hood
As its a limited edition it will be worthless in the future, there will be more in perfect condition in air tight containers than there is used.
I know I wouldn't hesitate in the swap myself but my main goal is productivity, will get an R7 if I can ever afford ram again.
