Turns out it must've been another game he thought was rubbish, as he's now bought Wik.

Just remove the memory card or hard drive when "trying" this disc then nothing is saved

Thing is if these work then surely the xbox 360 will be able to play anything, so if they can get rid of the protection on the games the 360 will play them without any modification at all. Although Im guessing they probably didnt bother with serious copy protection on a demo disc.

there was no media check which is why this works on a burnt disk. the signed .xex files still remain, so any 'serious' modification of the disk results in non boot.

it cant be used as a boot disk, but it gives an insight into certain things.

obviously you can delete the demo's and replace "pgr3.wmv" with 'coronationstreet.wmv' and have it play your video instead. thats the biggest 'hack' to come from the kiosk disk really.

aswell as homebrew flash applications + shader modding.

according to this Cancadian website it appears the main mod chip is jsut being tested
