I really like the 'bang-for-buck' chart, a very good idea.

very interesting. i always tend to buy cards at this sort of price range. i've got x800gt's in both my machines at the moment, would these offer a significant upgrade or am i best to wait and spend a bit more when the cheaper 8800s come out?
X1950Pro or 7900GS seem like excellent value for money, but the way ATi and NVidia are releasing new cards it's hard to tell. IMO just buy it and forget about the rest.
hardflipman,
G80 is simply excellent but it will be some time before derivatives come down to the £100 mark.
The £100-£130 market is full of good deals right now. Cards are directly based upon high-end SKUs (excluding G80, of course).
My personal recommendation goes to the XFX GeForce 7900 GS card that's clocked in at standard speeds (UQF3). It's available for £111 delivered (I'll get flamed if I say where ), the warranty is good, and it offers stonking value for money.
It will show a worthwhile increase over your X800 GT, assuming your system is reasonably powerful and up to date.
Radeon X1650 XT and GeForce 7600 GT simply can't cut it in this company.
