    viewty or cookie?

I'm looking for a new PAYG phone and am considering the cookie and the viewty. I like the style and feel in the hand of the cookie, it's stylus is appealing, and I'm not 100% keen on the sliding action of the viewty. The cookie is also £50 cheaper. However, one reason I wanted a large screen mobile was for internet access, particularly sport results. I suspect the 3G capability of the viewty might give it the advantage here. Finally, although not really a deal breaker, the camera in the viewty does seem to be more capable than the cookie, as well as higher resolution.

Can anyone help me make a choice?

    Re: viewty or cookie?

i just had the same issue as you i bought the cookie.

i decided that being a man and having good sized fingers the stylus would be handy and things like handwriting recognition.

overall i think the viewty is the better phone of the two but ut us quite large and the cookie has a nice sleek look similar to that of the iphone.

have only had it two hours but so far it looks like i made the right choice

    Re: viewty or cookie?

I have seen them both at similar prices on Pay as you go (~£100) and the viewty comes with a stylus iirc, im planning on getting one but just waiting for the price to drop to around £80 again lol. The viewty has a much better camera remember.

both are available at £97 and a few pennies but the viewty is on sale and all the shops i went into that had it on sale had no stock.

the viewty camera is miles better.

i did try the handwriting recognition on the cookie for doing texts and it was good but it had problems recognising my "H" other than that all was good.
