anyone else Got a W910i restart issues?

I bought a SE W910i a while ago and this has been happening ever since

Every so often (once every hour or so) it just randomly desides to restart screen freezes then goes blanck then it just restarts, this does my head in

My w910 is orange branded (i know big mistake), and they refuse to comment on it completely when calling them up on it
yes it has the latest firm ware on it and i re installed it several times

oh and another thing none off the acceleromiter games seem to run on it.

My mate has got a brand new w910, Tmobile branded and h hasent got any off these problems, never restarts, i can send him identical jar files and they run etc,

Anyone found a solution yet?

Have you searched around on the various phone forums?

Is it under warranty? If so, get it looked at.

If not, you could try debranding it (voids any warranties and there is a risk of bricking if not done correctly, some mobile phone shops/unlockers will do it for a fee).

The firmware provided by the official Sony software is not always the latest, especially on branded phones.

The latest generic firmware available appears to be version R1FA035. What version is yours? Check with:

yeh i tryed debranding mine, but XS++ doesnt support it, could you tell me how to debrand it?
mine is R1FA030 so you are right its not the latest

im not new to debranding it, i debranded my previous phone it was k610i and i flashed it to w660i so im not new to this stuff

but if you explain it to me how to debrand my w910i id be so happy

Those phones can't be unlocked for free. Try your network provider, local phone shop or eBay.

AFAIK Discussion of Unlocking phones is A OKAY, but UNBLOCKING phones is a whole other matter, and is illegal, and therefore cannot be discussed on HEXUS
