    I recently got the Nokia E71 from three, for £20 a month, with 200 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet (pretty much the selling point for me), unlimited three - three and unlimited skype;

    http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsu...UT20D090&=1201

    The phone for me has been great, very functional phone, got my email setup pretty easily (forwarded every to a gmail account and monitor that) which I receive like I do txts now. If your interested in the camera I could take a few pics to let you see, it's 3MP.
    It's 3G, full qwerty keyboard, very good looking piece of kit, and is noted in most reviews, for what you get in the package it's much smaller and lighter than you'd expect. The screen isn't as big as an Iphones, but it's been fine for BBC and I can happily navigate round normal sites with it (checked the train times with it the other day).
    After using it for about a month, I highly recommend it.

You can get the X1 on ebay for about 300 sim free brand new and on xda there are so many people who have it so a good support base there. X1 would be a good choice but the slide out keys I felt were too dinky for me. If keys are going to be that small I thought I might as well just go with the touch screen (and apparently the D2's touch screen is pretty damn good so they say! will find out tomorrow when my phone arrives )
    Yes, please let me know. I was also considering the Touch HD, but I felt it was just too wide, so right now it’s either the Diamond 2 or the Xperia. Diamond 2 is smaller, lighter but has less battery life and has no 3.5mm jack, while Xperia is thicker, heavier but has more battery life, 3.5mm jack. Diamond 2 has slightly bigger screen, more responsive screen, but the Xperia has a keyboard, and I get annoyed on my orbit II with the keyboard taking up space on the screen. Cant decide!

    Re: Which mobile phone! Recommend me some...

    Woo been playing with my Diamond 2 most of today and I got to tell you this thing is blimming class. The 3.2" screen feels bigger than I thought it would be. I can tell you typing on it is a bit fiddly but still pretty damn accurate. I managed to pick a 10pt size character L from a big ABCDEFGHI etc list running down the side with my thumb got it straight away.

    Browsing the web on it is pretty slick it renders it pretty much as you'd see on your pc. I hooked it up to my home WLAN and pages load in like 3-5 seconds on Opera Mobile so it's pretty fast. On 3G a little bit longer (but I have only 2 bars in my room on 3G) Youtube is great all nicely integrated. It feels nice and solid the device too. Nothing cheap about this thing. (Many people getting cracks on their X1 put me off getting it).

    Been using msn on the phone today and managed to type pretty fast with the portrait qwerty keyboard. I was gonna get the Xperia mate but I decided if the keys are going to be that dinky on the slide out I might as well just get the proper touch screen device. Typing on it is pretty good and this is my first touchscreen phone. Nailed it down pretty quick. Very sensitive screen as well. Not iphone sensitive but requires very little pressure to activate stuff which is cool.

    I don't think the 3.5mm will bother you too much. You get a stereo headset with the thing and if you really must use your headphones you can get a extUSB to 3.5mm adapter for a few quid.

    Also as stated before there are loads of xda geeks with the X1 so rom support etc but judging on how well the Diamond One did and the Diamond 2 is out now I decided to go with whats newer. They'll be lots more mods and add-ons for the Diamond 2 in next few weeks. I felt a bit envious about the Touch HD screen but after using this dude I'm very happy with what I got. Yes the 3.8" screen would be cool but the fact you get VGA recording in a slim line compact package and the same 800x480 res screen I don't think you will care that much.

    My only problem now is putting the phone down. I put it down come back to pc then feel like going back to the phone to play with it... borderline OCD lol!

    I have the E71 on the exact same package as Lee, & 1GB internet usage a month was an added bonus for me. I must say I am quite impressed with the phone. Great looking phone, decent camera, great for internet usage & the qwerty keyboard doesnt feel uncomfortable at all.

    Again, guess it does come down to what a person looks for in a phone but E71 for me was surely not a disappointment and I would happily recommend it to anyone.

    @thavala ... reported
    My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

    0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
    scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

    The Nokia N95, £100 for the 2GB version. Has everything I will ever need from a phone, and works as an mp3 player. Normal headphone socket is the win.
