HD2 Users running Android?

Thought I'd give FroYo a spin lats night and I have to say I'm mighty impressed
not going to go into details of how , but pop over to xda-dev.com , stick in a spare SD card ( it runs directly off SD , so the faster the better - and if you dont like it , just power cycle the phone and you are back to windows ) I even have it dual booting

works remarkably well - all things considered... I'm looking forward to the 0.2 release of ubuntu to give that a go... still plenty of things for the dev's to work on tho!

it works amazingly well - from the release notes of the build I put on there are only a few i's to dot and t's to cross. adressing the battery life would be nice.
when gps / native camcorder and sim contacts are there ( not that it worries me as mine are all synced to exchange ) they'll be onto a winner.

it certainly going to make the choice of my next phone a tough one. now android has the exchange integration its onto a winner.

What Radio version are you running on yours, I get the old high pitched squeeling when I call ppl or they call me, used to get it on the older Dutty ROM's until I upgraded the radio to 2.20.50.26

I'm using [BUILD] [28.07.2010] [mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.2] [Kernel: Cotulla 2.6.32.9 #71], with Radio 2.12.50.02 with Jmz Android Dual-Boot for HD2 v4 --- 19JUL10.

This is all running with the latest Energy ROM and call audio is fine for me.

I'm not aware of a 2.20.50.26 Radio for the HD2 ?

Dutty Creme V1 ROM is fine underneath but Android suffers.

Try the Energy ROM dude ( 21911 version ), It's the best custom ROM i've tried and update to 2.12 as I have found it offer's the best battery life and GPS.

I@m running the same Android setup as Chris but onto of a vanilla O2 rom , with 1.66 HSPL and 2.12.5 radio.

Been using the Dutty ROM's since my HD days, no reason to change, keeps upto date with new app versions etc..

Changing the base ROM may fix high pitched squealing when calling.

I'll change the radio rom later, that fixed the same issue a while back on the WM rom's..

How you guys gettimng on with the music app?
Any of the mp3's I have on my sd card run about 25% faster than they should lol..

music seems fine - set and mp3 as my ringtone and it plays just right.

Sounds like your phone has booted into Turbo mode, which version of Android are you using?

Right, just boshed the same version on as you guys, not too keen on the Sence on this tbh compared to the darkstone build I was using but if its more stable then I'm all for that...
No sound tho atm, what you guys using to launch as the launcher I was using fired up some program before haret to enable sound..
