    Google Lattitude

    Ok, is anyone else worried by this service? I ended up with it on my phone after updating Google Maps and then today for no apparent reason (phone was on the other side of the room and I was playing a game), it turned itself on and started broadcasting my location.

    I then discover that I can't uninstall the service, nor can I remove GoogleMaps entirely from my phone, only remove the updates. Plus there's no way to clear the location that was broadcast. I explicitally disabled all location based services on the phone when I got it, because I really don't want certain people to find where I am as it'd put me at risk.

    Is there anything I can actually do to prevent this happening again or do I just have to return my phone

    I already did but it turned itself back on all by itself and thats the part that is worrying me.....
