UNfortunately for me i plugged my phone into the pc yesterday and it wouldn't sync up then when i plugged my phone into charge it wouldn't charge either, Usb slot broken so waiting on insurance replacement for it which is a bummer

It is out now as an unbranded/generic update via an updated pc companion, but it looks like the rest of us on branded handsets from telco's are going to have to wait until they have all respectively taken ages to see if their stupid apps that I don't use anyway will work. *sigh*
Orange is saying a few weeks, so it looks like most (if not all) people will probably have it by the start of december... surely!!!... That or you could try the generic flash / debrand your phone, but be careful or you might end up with a bricksperia b10

Loaded the 2.1 update on to my GF's X 10 and it is now running ALOT better, the screen colour looks better as 2.1 supports multi-million colours rather than multi-thousand. New design, 5 screen home, new internet browser and more consistant wifi connection amongst other things are a vast improvement.... Why on earth wasnt it this good when they launched it?

I find it hilarious that the day after sony announced 2.1 samsung stomped all over them by saying 2.2 was available for galaxy s I got the wrong phone.
Worst thing is i heard orange are gonna take up to 3 weeks to get it on there phones am still waiting and there gonna take another week giving me my unlock code so i can put my t mobile sim back in my phone

Wow i didn't got this phone but, i've read lots of news about this phone and i luv it. Rachael get in my dreams, i was begging to sony ericsson to give one x10 to me:rofl:
Shame 2.1 is the last update you will see from SE on the X10.
