I really hope they do something different this time. But regardless of what they do, people will buy it, and they will break sales records!

    Re: Iphone 5

I can't wait, my ageing IPhone 4 needs an upgrade. Would be good if IPhone 5 is a bigger jump from 4S., Else I'll wait for Iphone 6

    Re: Iphone 5

It's unlikely the 6 will be a huge upgrade. The pattern has been 3G to 3GS, and 4 to 4S, so this is the major upgrade we've been waiting for! (fingers crossed!)

    Re: Iphone 5

I'll be interested to see what Apple come out with tomorrow. I do need an iPhone with more space on it. However my main interest will be how does the camera stack up against the Lumia 920.

Looks ugly to me, I might get one just to annoy all the iphone 4s owners who currently think their phone is the best in the world.

Just read an article on the BBC website and it's unbelievable how bias this guy is who wrote the article. Writers should be impartial and give both sides of the story.

One commenter rightly pointed out '"To complain that the iPhone hardware doesn't change is like complaining that forks have the same shape since they were invented: once an object fully fulfill it's purpose that's it!"

    Re: Iphone 5

I'm interested as my phone is due for an upgrade by the end of this month and its either this (handset only purchase and separate sim only contract), a HTC One X or the new Sony Xperia T. Depending on the features offered and all the changes (and in fairness its going to have to be a monumental upgrade to convince me to switch from Android) then I'll swap but if whats been going around is true then its nothing to write home about and will probably knock a few billion $ off Apples company value

The BBC are massive i-Sheep and I agree, there's a huge bias against other platforms. Kinda makes you laugh that it's almost certain that the 'new' iPhone will have that bigger screen Jobs said we didn't need and probably won't bring much else interesting to the table. Aside from higher res screens Apple have been behind the market for a while now - even on the software side they're distinctly lacking in my eyes (iPad 3 owner here) in any real innovation. That's not to say their range of apps, execution and marketing isn't amazing - it's just that I feel they've allowed everybody else to catch up (and overtake them in some areas) over the past 2 years.

Their news yes. This is not news, it's an opinion piece very clearly labelled as a 'viewpoint' from a noted satirical commentator.
