    Phone Upgrade Advice

My Boss to me yesterday that all of our phones are due for an upgrade this month, he has asked me to pick him a one out and to pick myself one out. He _WANTS_ a Motorola (dont see why but he does) and i dont really mind, except not the C500, as i have that as a personal upgrade phone

Sooo.. the choices are (short list but it HAS to have Bluetooth for our headsets)

    Motorola V3
    Motorola V500
    Motorola V600
    Nokia 6230
    Nokia 6600
    Nokia 7610
    S-E K700i
    S-E T610

Bearing in mind that they will all need to be used with Bluetooth headsets, and must have decentish battery life

Which one to go for? And which Motorola for my Boss?!

    Cheers,

    Craig

    From what I've seen....

Motorola V3: Lovely looks, but it's just a V600 (see below) in a new case.
Motorola V500: I have no experience with this phone.
Motorola V600: Quite nice features and looks (bar the horrible external aerial) but poor software. Bad UI and lots of annoying bugs.
Nokia 6230: It's been pretty popular and popular for a reason. Has all of the latest non-smartphone features (bluetooth, camera, video, mp3, etc).
Nokia 6600: No point getting this if you can get the 7610. Runs SymbianOS.
Nokia 7610: I own this phone and it runs SymbianOS, so I'm a little biased. Megapixel camera, lots of memory, very large and very bright screen and good looks (IMO ). Being a SymbianOS/Series60 phone, you've got access to the largest smartphone 3rd party software library out there right now. Downside is that it's not designed for playing music.
S-E K700i: Nice looking, IMO, but don't be fooled by it's "ultimate camera phone" tag. No expandable memory and only VGA resolution limits its camera functionality. If you've liked SE's previous phones however, then you'll like this one even more. On par with the Nokia 6320 in terms of features.
S-E T610: No point getting this if you can get the K700i.

I've got the 7610, so you can probably guess which one I'd recommend.

Your boss is probably best off with the V3 if he's desperate for a Motorola.

    6230 or 7610

7610 being better, 6230 being smaller

The S700i wins the "ultimate camera phone" tag now. Take the K700i make the screen bigger, MS Pro slot & 1.3MP camera.

Bloody excellent phone. Its a good £200 onto of a normal contract tho!

it would be a toss up between the 6230, K700i and 7610 depending on whether you want small or feature packed. My personal choice would be the 7610, especially if you already have a c500 you could 'test the water' with the [evil ] competition
