I haven't even got 5 yet on my 2012 N7!
I wouldn't rush anyway, I heard there are more than a couple of bugs on that device for 5.0.0, I'd definitely be waiting for at least 5.0.1.
Just another thing which I've noticed while using 5.0, is that battery capacity display seems to be incorrect. I'm not sure if this is to blame for the 'fast drain' complaints of this version, e.g. if people are comparing displayed percentages instead of actual battery life, but I've noticed for example I'll look at my phone one minute and it can say x percent with 30 mins left to charge, then check again in 5 minutes and it's at 100% and charging ceased.
Also, it seems like the battery drains quite quickly to something like 70% then hangs there for a while i.e. some non-linearity with the displayed percentages. Plus I'm occasionally seeing the percentage rise while not on charge, so perhaps the method of capacity estimation has been modified and is relying to heavily on cell voltage? Cell voltage can vary depending on load and isn't necessarily a linear decrease with discharge.
I've been using LP on my nexus 5, and im really unimpressed with it. Many freezes / device lock ups, not so great battery life. And many apps force close. Gutted.
I use bluetooth a lot, so I'm wondering if there may be bugs related to that usage.
I did a clean install also. (wiped the device on kit kat, upgraded, wiped again).
Waiting for the next bug fix!!
And... another thing.
I originally thought this was a bug with a usage monitor app I was using not being compatible with 5.0, but it affects Chrome too so maybe not; both the app and Chrome's own data usage monitor under the compression proxy menu are reading roughly an order of magnitude higher than real data usage. Android's own data monitor seems to be working fine though.
The 5.0.1 images are starting to appear for phones now, hopefully the OTA's will follow shortly.

I upped my N5 to 5.0 with a fresh wipe and flash and came across a few bugs like apps crashing, poor battery life and generally running slower than 4.4.4. My N7 went from 4.4.4 straight to 5.0.1 which was nice. The OTA update to my N4 to 5.0.1 came down last night. Will do a full charge cycle at the weekend and see if it improves things!
I'm still waiting on 5.0.1 OTA myself, so hopefully I get it soon.
I'm now on 5.0.1 on both the oneplus and N10, and finding it much better on the Oneplus, didn't have any obvious bugs on the N10 so its hard to compare.
Recently did my HTC m7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Pro. Both are noticeably more responsive.
A couple of apps don't work but then I wasn't expecting them too anyway (they are parts of HTC Sense).
Overall, I am very impressed with it.

I've had no issues on my N5. I didn't even factory reset. Seems a lot more responsive although I did have to disable the display tabs as apps setting in chrome. Without that change it was quite laggy. When I did the change I found 44 tabs open. Closing them did the trick!
I got the 5.0.1 OTA last night and while it seems functionally the same e.g. still has annoyances like extra swipe to unlock, silent mode, etc. which is to be expected for a minor revision really, some bugs appear to have been fixed e.g. flashlight toggle hasn't crashed phone yet, and the numbers in the battery monitor now add up to roughly 100% if you allow for some rounding.
However, it seems Google Services is now the top battery consumer. Perhaps it's just used as a catch-all for stuff which was previously not included, but its usage does seem quite high considering IIRC it's only meant to be background stuff, most of which I have disabled anyway!
Also I've seen (though not confirmed myself) some of the weirdness and instability around WiFi connections has been addressed in this update. I probably won't get a chance to test that until the new year though. My main issue was not hanging on to captive portal logins which worked fine in KitKat, and weirdness where it would say connected but still use cellular data, random exclamation marks when properly connected, etc etc, as mentioned in #13.

I'll give it a go. And that brings me to another thing - where's the reboot option when you hold the power button!!???!
I probably reboot my phone a lot more than I shut it down.
