K750 all the way. You cannot add flash memory to either the V3 or D500 so you're going to be pretty limited when it comes to mp3 storage. Also the k750 boasts the best camera.

Does the K750i come with a good e-mail application and does it sync easily with Outlook (e-mail, calendar and task list)? I'm considering this phone over the Nokia 6680.

dangerous_dom posted saying that the PC-side software was absolutely abysmal. I have no idea about how good the e-mail client is on it though.

Out of those three phones, my choice would be K750i, then D500 and then V3.

V3 is crap, all it does it look good. D500 is nice but no upgradable memory, K750 is best out of that selection even with the software issues.

my d500 pisses me off with the texting side of it... It seems to have a limited number of user-inputted words and then without warning forgets words... so you have to re-teach the phone them also the order in which words come up is pretty stupid too... prefered my old t610 for texting - despite its slow response time...

The K750i. It's just no contest.

I have a V3 and hated it. It's a chavs phone, with rubish slow firmware. It's thin, but very wide and the camera is a joke. It has no Mp3 player either. Crap battery too. (because it's so small). A terrible terrible phone.

A few friends have D500's and I am not that impressed. The camera, even though it's 1.3mp is not much better than a standard 64k one IMO. The mp3 player is also sub standard. It's a fat boy as well and does not sit well in a pair of jean's pocket.

The K750i in simply the best phone I have used, period. It's so slick and the MP3 player and camera are top notch.

The Sony software is not the best, but if you can get it to work it's not that bad. It's just that many people can't get to work at all. But anyone who has ever used Sony software before will be used to this!
However, the phone/memory card works like a normal removable drive, so adding/removing photo's, games, MP3's, ringtones or just any file you want to carry around etc is childs play. When you plug it in it appears as a drive in My Computer. I wish other phone makers would do the same. If you want to back up your contacts etc, then there is good non-Sony software software available.

not considered a 6230i as an ex owner of all of the above, i only ever seem to get on with my 6230i, had 2 6230s and upgraded to the 6230i, will not look back!

admittedly the k750i 2mpx camera was nice-ish, still not a digital camera tho

exact opposite, I have had three 6230's and I just got my 6230i and I HATE it, its got little bits of software thats been changed and its irritating.

My 6230i will be replaced with either a K750i or D500 in the next few days...
