This one is bugging me.
I have a Sony Ericsson T630 with bluetooth which I want to sync with my laptop which has a built-in bluetooth adaptor. OS is WinXP and has just the basic BT drivers.
The phone is paired up with the laptop without problems (apparently)
I have downloaded and installed XTNDConnect which SE offer free to sync.
After numerous attempts trying to sync, I get a "Getting Status information" screen on the laptop. The phone kicks into life and says Synchronising. After 20 secs or so, a pop up XTNDConnect "Unable to communicate to phone" error message appears.
On my previous laptop, I had a Dlink USB BT dongle which came with some synching software which worked fine, but I was also using a T68i
So I don't know whether it's
a) the T630 which is carp with BT
b) the XTNDConnect is carp (didn't use it on my previous setup - just used the windows PIM once the BT dongle was plugged in and it worked fine)
Interestingly, I've tried transferring some photos taken with the phone over BT and can't do that either - I just get a transfer failed message on the phone (nothing on the PC).
Any ideas?
