Did you get a better deal by opting for the longer term?Originally Posted by M@rco

Then yes!
I have just got a d500 with o2 and recieved 50% extra calls and texts for the 18 month contract
Thats the contract i am on too, so no new phone after 12 months never mind will it be after 18 months then?
Yes but you should look on the bright side its a good phone
A friend at work has just got the new one like the d500 and i would say its not much better
we all told him how crap it was LOL
Thanks very much for your help to be honest i only got it becuase it was free not interested in the added features aslong as it texts and rings im fine with it , Cheers!
usually you should be able to get a new phone after month 15, thus they get you a new phone and tie you in for another 12 month minimum. Personally, looking at the market at the moment i can se a serious shift away from providing handsets with contracts, the next 12 months look interesting for the mobile market, saturation is being reached in small pockets on the country and that will see very different approaches coming from the networks in the next 12-24 months.
matt.
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
Isn't this the case in Finland?
You pay for the phone you want and then you can get a contract for around £10 a month with out having to subsidise the phone.
Imp
Mobile phone subsidises are illegal in Finland, yes.
When do O2 normally let you upgrade on 12 month contract? Is it 10 Months? 11 Months?
11th month.Originally Posted by BenW
Just remember a lot of O2 customers get a resign in the 9th and 10th month of there contracts so theres nothing saying that them on the 18 month contracts won't get one say in the 14/15th month of the contract.
and without them here the mobile phone market would not have taken off yet us the brits still are happy when they have to pay for a handset thats worth over 300 quid some days it does my head inOriginally Posted by Aaron
