    Recommend me a phone please!

    Okies, I need a phone.

I have a SIM card (Orange pay as you go) and so won't need one of them
    I have a limit of £75.
I do NOT need a camera.
I just need to call and text.
I would like it to be colour, I would like bluetooth and I would like tri-band. (Though these are not essential, bluetooth least essential)
It shouldn't be too flimsey, it will get a rough life.
    Battery life is important.

    Thank you!

    Appreciate your ideas.

You could try Orange's refurb store for a good deal.

A Nokia 6630 for £89 is an absolute steal!

How about a contract phone with cashback?

Typically, 12 months of 100-200 minutes x-net/month for much less than your budget.

There's a VERY good guide and price comparison site there -> www.reestitmutton.co.uk

Nokia 6310i fills most of the criteria apart from being colour, plus there built like APCs.

    Im with Aaron

    http://www.orangeaccessories.co.uk/i...uantity=0&gb=0

Does everything you requested + more, and it just so happend to be a good phone.

As for the 6310i i have to agree. I have one of those and its bullerproof so I let my mum use it.

Oh and V3 = Pants when put up against a real phone like a Nokia or Sony Erricsson

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Dreadful phone, dodgy software, refuses to bluetooth connect to PC, laggy menus and easy to damage. The amount of calls our CS department has had over the V3 is unbelivable, theres been more for that one model then for the whole Nokia Range.

As for the Nokia Phones, I love em, I think there brilliantly made and designed, especially the 6822.

Hmm, the links you have given me to the refurbed oranges crash internet explorer...

I have already heard bad things about the V3, I think I will give that one a miss tbh... cheers anyway.

@ hitman, you said they were built like APCs. Ironically, being an Army chap (hence need a strong built phone) the reason for me needing a new phone is that my 6310i has just broken... after being in an APC! (Though that may not be the cause).

Anyway, while I'm here, any ideas on a way to fix my old phone? It works fine apart from NEVER recieving any signal (i.e. the Orange logo doesn't even appear on the main screen).

And keep the new phone ideas coming, please!

    Thanks

My dads phone (the 6310i) had that problem for a while, but he took it back to 02, they did something to it and now it works great as ever. All I can suggest is to take it to Orange and let them have a look, sometimes they impress even myself. (I work for 02 but I'm on Orange)

Other than that we can't decide for you, take your budget down to Carphone Warehouse or somewhere like that and ask them about the phones, have a good play with a couple and then come back with whatever you liked the best.

OK then I left samsung off the list.

The D500 lovely stylish phone big bright screen, Mrs has had d500 and V3 no bother with either TBH

Ive had loads of nokias with my job 6310i also and nearly all of them knacked up very quickly switching itself off was the main fault.

The 6310i is very dated in todays market

It's a PAYG Orange Sim Card, I belive they were on here a while ago. you pay £15 to get 3000 Free Texts a month and then sign up to the 600 minutes, which is a tenner a month (covered under the £15 already spent)

The Nokia 6021 effectively replaces the 6310i and can be had on Orange for 12 months at £49 from OSPS.
