    Xcute DV2 video recording?

hey all, just bought one of these off ebay hopefully it will arrive soon.
Just wondering if anyone here has got or tried one of these as far as video recording quality goes?
I believe I once watched a video someone posted on another forum of a fishing weekend once, but i've misplaced that long ago now.
So, is the recording any good at VGA 30fps?

£232 delivered from a UK Seller.
It's the AK Mobile rebadged version of the Xcute DV2.
Decided I wanted as good a camera/camcorder i could get from a phone, and a music player and this seems to fit the bill perfectly, since i never use BT and IR much anyway.
Just waiting to recieve it now lol, u had any experince with it?

Nope, but really none of this stuff is good enough to be integrated yet. I wouldn't expect too much.

Review of the DV1. DV2 will be a little better, but not much. Its not very good as a phone though.

Its a bit late to say, but you would have been better off getting a K750 if you wanted something that was good as a phone as well, or get a separate camera and phone - ie. a Canon Ixus I5 for about £130 (which will be a much better camera than the XCute) and a K700 for making calls.

Also, £230 on a 6mp camera phone that doesn't even have a flash .... you won't take any decent pics in doors (sorry!).

    Video recording looks promising enough
It does have a flash underneath the camera, although it will probably only work for a 1-2m range.

    Camera light, not a flash.

    99.9% of those are useless.

Just as long as the video recording is fairly alright (which it appears to look good!) then that's fine with me. The ebayer i've bought it from his internet is down so he cant confirm my payment and therefore cant dispatch it yet (typical!)
All I need now is to find an expanded battery for it, since the bundled 700mah wont get me very far im thinking.

    Video recording quality is excellent
Very satisifed so far! Just what i was after in a phone!
