Best mobile phones currently available?

Anyone with a P990 should update the software on it. The latest version i installed the other week makes a massive difference. Everything is quicker, menus, messaging, the camera software, etc.

Although it does completely wipe your phone, unlike most upgrades i've done in the past.Luckily all my contacts and calendar items were backed up.

most of the office guys use it and are impressed.

I doubt MSIC is still looking for a phone after all this time, but since you dragged the thread back up, i'll pitch on again.

I like my P990, but it isn't a fantastic phone, loads of things about it i don't think. I've had a couple of instances recently when it has re-started when aswering a call to "optimise performance". that sucks. I'd also quite like a smart phone that had a wider variety of software, including decent SatNav (preferably TomTom) - that basically means a WindowsMobile phone.

The P1 is coming soon, it looks liek a pretty good update to the P series. The P990 is pretty fat and heavy, although i have just stuck a Vodafone SIM in my old K750 for work and it feels like a toy now i'm used to the huge screen, heft and build of the P990.
