    K800i

Got one of these last week and so far im loving it

Anyone else have one? Im wondering where the best place would be to get an M2 memory stick for it. I want more space for music and photos. Im thinking of at least 512 but it depends on the price i suppose. I have seen some on ebay but they are from Hong Kong and China which is a bit worrying considering the scams with smaller mem chips put in 1gb casings etc.

Anyone have any experince with reliable and reasonably cheap reatilers?

    Cheers

As for the phone, so far so good (i have only owned it 7 days though). Decent battery life when using the very good 3.2mp cybershot camera and mp3 player etc. Crucially the calls are perfect quality and texting is great. Havnt had the chance to try video calling yet. The screen is brilliant. Its a small, light, aethetically pleasing, solidly built handset. I love it

Any questions, just let me know

Also got this phone - it's very good

RSS Reader built in, built in pop3 email support, web browsing etc. Very good camera (for a mobile phone, although indoors isn't as good as real digicams). Only a few minor niggly bugs on mine, although they don't annoy me. Texting and everything else is very good.

Has anyone else noticed the phone seems to be a lot "slower" than the K750i - When scrolling through the menus etc.

Other than that an excellent phone.

After gushing about how great this phone is yesterday, its now started playing up. You guessed it, that lovely se joystick is being unresponsive and the phone keep randomly turning itself off . Its going back to 02 and im having a refund.

Usual SE problems them - I hope mine stays ok or it will also be going back.

EDIT: Have you also tried updating to the latest firmware version?, I have just checked mine and it has the first firmware revision.

No, in fact i have found is way faster.

However, my girlfriend picked it up yesterday to find the screen was complete ****ed, just a load of messy random colours. It kind of looks like it has cracked, but this is strange as nothing has happened to it and there is no exterer damage at all.

Anyone heard of any problems with the screens?

Which operator are you with? - I am with Orange

    Take a look at:-

    Which http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=124349

Sounds like an issue with the first firmware revision R1CB001. ( Which my phone is )

It's an O2 version. O2 are normaly known for having the most bloated firmware, maybe it's Orange this time around. A firmware update is probably a good idea, all zero day release SE firmware is bug ridden, it's just a fact of life these days. Although to be fair, it's generally all the branding and crap the network operators insist on putting on it that causing to the problems. They are a fool to themselves they are

Apart from the joystick, the K750i was pretty solid after a few firmware revisions. Have a look on the SEUS site.
