N73:Setting a photo from Gallery as Wallpaper in Full size

Good afternoon to you all.

This is really annoying me.

I know I can choose a photo from my gallery & apply it as my wallpaper , however is there any way I can make the photo larger so it fills the whole screen.

Currently I can't seem to achieve this , and I can't see where there's an option in the settings to possibly ' fill the screen ' & it looks rather silly/daft just filling some of it.

Strangely, when i used to apply pics id taken with my old N90 (mind you we are talking 2 megapixel images not 3.2 so there is obv the resolution difference) they resized themselves perfectly to fill the active standby screen. (That is the designated area assigned for wallpaper to cover that is)

Try going into the Gallery, going to the picture you want and choose Edit, from there choose Apply effect, im almost sure there was a Resize Picture option, and from there im sure there will be something you can do.
Otherwise is it possible nokia has kept old code and not thought about the lower res / physically larger n73 screen? I have no idea
