Is it possible to make a bootable usb stick from within vista with no floppy disk?

Is there a util kicking about? I have the HP one, but it requires a bootable floppy to be made first, and the point of me making this thread is that if I dont have a floppy drive handy, and I am using vista, is this possible?

P.S. I do have a floppy drive than I can use, but this is just out of curiosity more than anything.

Some flash drives have software to make part of it appear as a floppy drive to windows, perhaps that is the answer?

The HP util wont read the files off a windows xp, me, 98 cd.

Just looke don the Kingston site and there isnt anything. Ah well, cheers anyway, looks like I'll have to play with my floppy for a bit.

I've just thought, the workings of previous boot disks are available on the net, perhaps use them as a starting point and create your own?

Could do that, but I was wondering if there was a util that did it for you, even something made by microsoft themselves.

I'm surprised there isnt anything in windows to let me do it.

Its just for general stuff like flashing VGA bios, mobo bios etc.
