    ubuntu Disk read error - NullPointerException

    fresh install of 7.04 in azureus using apt-get install azureus. and few hours late i get:
    ubuntu Disk read error - NullPointerException

    whats wrong and whats the solution?

    not really the answer to your problems, but "transmission" has behaved itself very well for me. and isnt a resource hog

    try installing sun java instead of the default gcj java. it's much more robust, and azureus behaves much better

    whats the best method of doing the above?can i do it in terminal?
    got a command that i could use to make it easier?
    which one? the sun java5-bin or sun-java6-jre?
