I just recently installed Vista x64 Ultimate and all is running well apart from the network. I have a wireless D-Link DWL G510 Revision 3 in the system which connects to the internet through an access point on another computer. The problem is that internet download speeds vary drastically but the major issue is connecting to folders on the other systems on the network.
If I load up the desired folder on the system with the access point it will typically not respond if I try and do anything, the green bar builds to a point and stops. Also copying files is virtually impossible as it claims to be calculating the time but that keeps going on and on due to the not responding bit.
I have tried disabling the autotuning but that has not worked. The other system is running XP, could this be a problem is it possibly a setting within vista?
