Unhappy Re-installing vista on new pc, problem, pls help!

I just bought a new pc, ordered from dell. Like I always do with a new pc, I re-install the OS, in this case vista ultimate. (so I got a clean windows, no more crap).

Because I have 2 RAID HDD's, I need to load a driver in the installation from a MS, and I do that. Then I chose where to install Vista on, the normal C:/ drive, and then it says:

Windows cannot determine if system has valid system volume.

I tried formatting (that was stupid, I don't have any OS on it now) and also partitioning and that kind of stuff.

Please anyone help?? This is the first time I really don't know what to do

    EDIT:
I just tried loading the driver from the C:\ drive, and it said it must be formatted first. So I clicked format, and then it said it can't format and I should check it can connect and that kind of stuff. Its like the vista installer doesnt get acces to the hdd, but then, whats keeping it from connecting? very weird..

Have you set up the array on the RAID BIOS?

    I got it working!!

I reset my bios to factory defaults, made a reboot so it could scan my pc again, and then booted the setup again. Looks like something was wrong in the bios... No idea what though
