I just bought a new pc, ordered from dell. Like I always do with a new pc, I re-install the OS, in this case vista ultimate. (so I got a clean windows, no more crap).
Because I have 2 RAID HDD's, I need to load a driver in the installation from a MS, and I do that. Then I chose where to install Vista on, the normal C:/ drive, and then it says:
Windows cannot determine if system has valid system volume.
I tried formatting (that was stupid, I don't have any OS on it now) and also partitioning and that kind of stuff.
Please anyone help?? This is the first time I really don't know what to do
EDIT:
I just tried loading the driver from the C:\ drive, and it said it must be formatted first. So I clicked format, and then it said it can't format and I should check it can connect and that kind of stuff. Its like the vista installer doesnt get acces to the hdd, but then, whats keeping it from connecting? very weird..
