    Sorry guys, should have been more specific. When I said complicated I meant 'bloody big', rather than using macros etc. I've decided to try OpenOffice first, looks pretty srubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishy, and it's on the download now. I'll let you know how it goes, cheers for the help!

    Another Option might be Google spreadsheet, I haven't used it for more than 5 minutes, but it works entirely online so no download needed, and is supposed to handle concurrent edits by different people if that's ever useful.

    Having said that I've used Open Office at home for years quite happily.
    They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

    Hey guys, thanks for all the replies, finally got round to trying calc/OOo, and fair play, it's cracking! Can't go wrong for the price of the electricity to download it. Caters to all my needs easily. Bit chuggy but apart from that, perfect. Cheers for all the other suggestions aswell!
