    Network of Virtual Machines

    I'm going to be bored this week, so I thought I'd come up with a long-ish term project for myself, a network of virtual machines including a Windows Server VM acting as DC etc etc (I dont know much about Windows Server/Domain Environments in general, hence the project).

    I've a 180 day trial in Windows Server 2003, so I'm expecting that to install OK, but I can't find any way to get a trial of Windows XP, I dont know if such a thing exists?

    Is there a 'pre-rolled' Windows XP Virtual Machine I could use perhaps, or will I have to abandon this idea?

    You can install xp without registering for 30 days, then it locks up.

    Ah yes, but that would lead me to have to use my current XP Key to install it wouldn't it?

    I'm sure that breaches some part of the EULA!

    No, you can leave the key off for up to 30 days. It probably still breaches some part of the eula, but whose to know?

    How?

    When installing, it won't let me bypass the serial screen unless the key in slipstreamed onto the disk.

    You can install Vista for 30days with no key at all IIRC. Just thought that XP could do it too going on what herulach said and that i'd just not seen it / missed how to do it
