    of you could use bintube which is an astraweb reseller for only $10.99 and you get to use their own usenet client and search

    I also use Easynews. It has a very useful web interface for binary news groups where you can select the files you want put them all into a huge zip file and download them. Pictures can be previewed etc. Servers run NNTP, HTTP, NNTPS and HTTPS on multiple ports.

    Ones I have used in the past include:

    Giganews
    Usenetserver
    Astraweb.

    Currently I am with Newshosting using there european server without issues, supports SSL as well and for unlimited is currently $14.95 per month.

    I dont really use it that often however when I need to grab something from there it manages to max out my connection without any issues.
