PowerDVD - perfect Sound but no DVD video

I've been building a friend a brand spanking new shuttle system and everything is excellent.
I've only got the one problem DVDs won't play!

I've checked that I am running in DMA mode, that the region setting is set to 2 and that its updateed. But still I am stuck as to why I can listen to the dvd playing....even roll the mouse about where there should be the dvd menu(and select things on it) but still not VIEW anything on screen.

PLS help. I've told him that I'd deliver it on TUESDAY !

Is the video being sent to a second monitor? Make sure the monitor is set up as pirmary - it may be routing the video via the TV out

Yep. thats exactly the problem. after trawling through the graphics tabs in the display settings i found it was sending it to the TV output
all sorted now tho'
Now I can watch Master and Commander before I get rid of this computer
