Windows Updates?

Just built a system and installed windows xp plus sp1… went to windows update and there was about 40 waiting for me, 19 critical which I downloaded and 2 drivers which I needed and downloaed… but there were another 20 odd with stuff like DX9 and what not… I have cable BB at the mo, so shall I just get them all or are there ones I should avoid? And info would be nice.. cheers jimmy

They are none critical updates, ie tweaks / improvements to Windows programmes.

There aren't any you should avoid as far as i know, but if you have the time and the bandwidth, they are probably worth installing.

yeah i brought the shuttle i built for my misses to work and have it plugged into the BB network, so i have the time and download speed... ok i shall give em all a try!!
