Opera 10.50 Beta out!

Got it as well.

Had a few crashes in the past week or so, will see how this Beta goes.

There are a few other things that have changed. Challenge response login boxes are different again.

Already got. Very steady and stable for me.

Anyone having a problem with phantom bookmark folders? I deleted a folder and then made a new bookmark for the shop the folder had links to. Different products that I've now bought so I just need the main shop site bookmarked. Everytime I type "sh" nothing happens and I find the folder I had deleted has reappeared. I'm not sure if its happening immediately after being deleted or if it happens when I install a new version of the beta.

apart from a couple of wandering links on the Personal Bar, the bookmarks are quick and work well.

I had a couple of issues with autopagerize scripts locking it up in the beta but the combination of updated scripts plus the final seem to have resolved it

..or not. I found that the autoupdate in the beta fails to find the new released version - you can check what version you have by typing "opera:about" in the address bar - you should see:

I had to manually install the release - a minor niggle..

Anyone experiencing issues with not being able to log in to certain sites? Can't log into Amazon on 10.50 but it works on 10.10.

I can log on fine to Amazon, just tried it.

Not had any other log in issues.

Just checked and I definitely can't. How are you logging in? Making use of the Wand tool?

Strange. I definitely can't log on. Had hoped it would be fixed with 10.51 but it isn't. I've tried the Wand tool, CTRL+ENTER, typing my password in manually. Nothing works.

OK so I got fed up not being able to log in to my Amazon account just now. Decided to clear out the cookies Opera stored from Amazon. Pressed CTRL + ENTER and I got logged in.

Well I don't like either of them, so I really couldn't say

I'm a creature of habit, I used IE for a long time because it worked for me. But sites became a lot more demanding on the speed of Javascript, so I moved to Opera because a friend highly recomended it. Never looked back.
