Hey,
I just realised that I dont have a spare windows license for my new dedicated folding machine, so decided to do some digging into Linux, which I do use on a couple of my non-gaming machines.
I found this guide:
http://www.overclock.net/folding-hom...pu-client.html
Which is for Ubuntu, and very comprehensive - if a little out of date.
Going to try it out and compare the numbers to Windows (can do a 30day no activation I guess for comparison), well if I can get it going at least I will compare the numbers
Thought I would share the guide as part of our new drive to get more discussion and posts about folding. And Apparently SMP gets higher numbers under linux so perhaps some of the loss from using Wine could be made up there.
