Every time I go on a site like eBay, scroll down the page and click on a link, then click back firefox always reloads to the top of the page. Is there anyway to combat this because it's getting really annoying and I don't have this problem with IE and I have just upgraded to firefox 0.9.1 and the problem is still there. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Does the same for me, have moved to Avant, well groovy. Probably a simple solution to it grabbed a spell checker that works with avant

I have this issue, I think it mainly occurs when you don't wait until the page has fully loaded, especially on sites lke eBay where there are ads to external sites and so on. IE puts you back to the same position on the page early in the rendering process, I think Firefox waits until the page has completely loaded before doing so. Have a look on www.mozillazine.org to see if anyone else has reported the issue.
I may be wrong though, it's just a thought as to why it happens
It's one of my minor niggles with Firefox - the same thing happens if you refresh (or auto reload) a page - back to the top I go.

This isnt a Hijack, im just highlighting other problems ive noticed aswell as the above. But has any one noticed that while a page is loading none of the links will work? Ive noticed that you have to wait untill the page has fully loaded before you can follow any links. The only way to open the link is via a new tab or window. IE wasnt like this. It also has a problem logging in to certain acounts aswell. Thankfully it logs in to Hexus and B-tech withouth a problem
I think theres a few niggleing problems which need to be addressed. Im sure in time they will be
things like account logon issues are primarily down to IE-only code on the web sites in question.
send them an email to complain
you know, any issues like that you can report to the firefox dev team
