Driver issues m8...you installed new usb drivers ?
Plugged in new ISDN or ADSL modem?
Is it a USB device, maybe a iRiver MP3 player you are trying to use?
m@
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
I am using a USB modem, its the only USB device I use. Its a Fujitsu Modem. The Error, however, only happens when I pay Soldier of Fortune 2???
Unplug the modem when you are going to play it and see if it still happens.
ROFL I dont ever play it single player; however, I guess I should try 1 player and uplug modem to test it. I will let you know. Cheers.Originally Posted by Shogun

Someone help me. I am screwd, Sof2 is crashing every 5 minutes, and I have a very important Clan War Tomorrow which I cannot afford to keep crashing on!!!!!! This is serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other times it just freezes, and locks up - and I have to press restart. Its only recently started doing this, and I have since installed no new hardware. What on earth is going on???? I'm in so much trouble!!!!
What PSU you got ? (you wouldnt belive how often this problem is caused by this).
Other than that, make sure ALL your drivers are upto date.
Have you always had this problem, or is it just recent ?
If its a new issue, try to think of anything you may have installed (namely drivers and important system software), or any alterations in your hardware config.
This problem has suddenly occured, and I have not made any major hardware/software/driver changes. However, I have no updated all my drivers, but still no luck. In reference to the PSU, I have a Shuttle SN41G2
Hi m8, say what OS are you using?
XP, sorry I forgot to mention that.
IRQL stop errors are generic, and usually untraceable. they can be triggered by power issues, overheating, or another driver - e.g. i've had them for pluging in headphones whilst my pc is on, or a buggy graphics driver causing errors reported in a disk controller driver.
there's no easy way to trace what causes them
Try a new firmware on the modem. Fuji devices have some problems, so do Eumex.
I will try what tillyoubreakit suggested, but in the mean time, what might you suggest to do directhex- since the bluesreen is not my only problem. The other problem are the random freezes in sof2.Originally Posted by directhex
