Biggest problem with the Doom III one will be the fixed size. If the user resizes their screen how will the navigation look ?

I think theres a good vertical split in the middle of the Doom III one, should allow for good resizing imo.

It's the navigation bar that's the issue, not the vertical split

Cheers Boogle, yes you can sell them you just need to know where to go...but people can still be picky, I will probably sell these through my design site when its done...

the pipe underneath the navigation would be tiled and the actual navigation tabs would be in a self contained left aligned table to allow the fluid template to work.

the only big issue I can see is the two columns on the right, but I would make them a fixed width and let the left hand side do the fluidity....
