    As Moby says, there's no PST files in Exchange so long as the user is using the Exchange Information Store, which by default she will be, except for archives and exports. There IS an OST, but in practice you don't need to go looking for that, just follow the instructions above for manual compaction.

    I hope it works out - remember to do the manual compression thing at the end!

    Monday morning here now

    will go over to the client later this afternoon probably so just to sum up basically:

    change folders to online only mode

    compress offline storage.

    that's it then... have printed out the stuff you wrote earlier..
