Control Panel In My Computer?

I have just formatted my hard drive, and re-installed windows etc. I'm sure on the previous install I had the control panel icon in "my computer", but I've forgotten how I did this. Does anyone here know of a way?

It just gets annoying when I open up my computer and realise it's not there. Also, I know there's a text link in my computer, but I'd prefer an icon if possible. Thanks

go into my computer , click on folder options then go to the view tab and on that list somewhere should be show control panel in my computer tick the box and you done.

Thanks - I did look in there last night, but it was late, so I must have missed it.
