    Cool Alternative mail/browser

Can anyone recommend an alternative mail client to Outlook and another browser than IE.

Opera but their mail client works very differently - takes a bit of getting used too.
I suppose you could run Opera/Thunderbird though?

TBH, I've just switched Opera off at home and at work; I've used it for years, but Firefox is simply better; faster, offers tabbed browsing (and using the Tabbrowser Preferences extension does it better than Opera), stable, secure... I've also ditched Outlook at home for Thunderbird (and am having a play with Sunbird, the scheduling package). I hated the Opera mail client.

I can't stand ie now, firefox is by far and away a better browser, and if windows update would work with firefox I would delete the whole damn thing off my pc.
