No Internet after 15-20 mins of XP log in

Ok. As the title says, i log in to WinxpH and after about 15-20 mins the inernet stops working, no web pages get displayed and i get chucked off MSN, its like i didnt have the inernet on the computer. Ive had this problem before but it only arised after installing SP1, so i removed it and the problem went, but this time its on a different computer with no SP installed. Has any one got any ideas whats going wrong. Im useing NTL 150KBB

Yup, forgot to update the thread, went to ntls site and it had a virus alert on there for 2000 / XP so i followed what they said and it seems to have worked. Blaster wasnt picked up but the welch virus was. thanks for ur post ne way

How come XP is no good?
Is it because the drivers were not good for the devices at the time that you installed it?
please explain as you seem to pop into a few threads, say XP is crap then pop-off. When someone asks for an answer to a question telling them to dump their OS is not really very helpful unless you explain why that is broken in XP then it is insubstantiated.
XP is the best OS that M$ have ever produced.

XP Pro is v. good IMO - just make sure you update it on a regular basis. Why's 2000 better in your opinion, sparrow?
