    Drive Image7...not doing what it says :(

    Got this cos I thought it would be a good tool. It looks great...but must be doin something wrong.

    I have Sair's PC with a 30 gig drive in it....she's running outta space. SOOOO I got a 120gig drive.

    I installed Drive Image 7 onto the PC.
    I tok the CD Drive unit out, put the new HDD with the jumper set to Slave in (as it goesits on a different channel t the HDD, so I think the Slave/ Master thing is irrelevant)
    I ran Drive Image and used Copy Hard Disk.....it describes itself as being ideal for HDD upgrade.

    In the options I ticked the option for boot drives.

    It also haveme an option of a drive letter...I left it as none.

    It ran, took 14 minutes, and oncedone, I booted down, took the original HDD out, put the new big hdd as a Master with the jumper, put it on the Pimary EIDE cable where the oldHDD had been, (yes with power plugged in) andbooted.

    BIOS sees it, but not as an OS....failed to boot into Windows

    Next I tried using XP Pro Disk to partition the new HDD, and left a partition on it...then repeated all the above.

    Nope/

    Then I tried setting the new biggerHDD to being a master, as it was on the secondary EIDE channel....repeated the setup....nope.

    Each time it says itsdone it.

    Each time BIOS sees it....as a Slave or a master, on the right EDIE channel

    But it wont boot.

    It WILL NOT SHOW IN XP EITHER....when I boot off the original HDD, and leave the instaled one as Secondary master or slave....t does not show as a drive letter in My Computer in XP.

    bt it DOES show in System Properties.

    Any ideas guys ?
