Question Best way to extract audio from DVD-R

I have an old gig on DVDR, but I'd like to extract the audio, 'enhance' it and save as an Ogg file. Any recommendations for the best audio extraction method, and for (easy) audio enhancement software?

The video quality could also do with a makeover, so I guess I need some DVD authoring software too?

    Ta in advance,

    Tim

Hmmm... I should have pointed out that this is a (non-commercial) DVD video, recorded on DVD-R.

Tim, the problem is that software for that sort of thing, although I FULLY believe you are doing nothing illegal, is easily used for 'dodgy' purposes.... so it's tricky to reccomend anything without inadvertently helping other people do dodgy things...

    Hi Deckard,

I see what you mean. Is there a way you could send me a private message? I've now enabled them (and the 'vcard download' thing) in my Options, if that's any help?

However, if you're not comfortable divulging this sort of information at all then I understand, for the reasons you mentioned! I suppose this sort of thing could be misused in the wrong hands.

    Thanks & regards,

    T
