My grandparents have just brought a new computer, and often need help with it. Their anti-virus is about to run out, but a few months ago, I put a different one on, and didn't get chance to remove the old one. Basically, I'm hoping to to use windows XP's remote assistance facility to uninstall it for them.
I should be on broadband, and they'll be on 56K dial up at the time. Will their dial up connection greatly interfere with what I'm trying to do? Will there be LOADS of lag?
I think I should be able to guide my grandparents how to invite me to use their computer using remote assistance, but is there anything else I should watch out for?
Thanks.
